Naomi’s Neighbor

Zach Cassal has been Naomi Zook’s friend all their lives. Their family farms share a border and it makes perfect sense to Naomi that they should marry. Her plan is practical, but Zach turns her down, saying they both deserve a marriage of love. Naomi is furious, having asked Zach to marry her out of her secret fear that she’ll never be a man’s wife.

Then they have to run an Amish store together to enable his uncle and her grandmother, married, to go see his uncle’s kids. What follows is a sometimes zany interaction that drives Naomi crazy, but she can’t resist Zach’s heart and the two truly fall in love.
